HeatWeave | TapeMat™

HeatWeave® TapeMats are the safest and easiest-to-install heating mat in the industry. It is Listed by UL® for the U.S. and Canada, and tested by Tile Council of America for all residential and moderate commercial applications. All mats have the "S-pattern" wire construction and produce 12 watts/sq. ft. HeatWeave offers the largest selection of mats in the industry with over 40 sizes manufactured in lengths covering up to 160 sq. ft. - with one mat!

Consider The Benefits...

  • The industry's first thin, open-weave construction allows thin-set or self-leveling mortar to flow through the mat and easily bond with the underlying material. This one-step application adds only 1/8" thickness over a normal tile installation.
  • The industry's first single power lead construction makes mats easy to install and simpler to connect to the control.
  • The industry's highest-quality heating wire using ETFE high-temperature insulation, PEX jacket, and oxygen-free copper alloys for corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, and longevity.
  • The industry's first twin-wire construction means ultra-low EMF.
  • 120-VAC and 240-VAC models available for small residential to large commercial applications.
  • The industry's only shielded and fully grounded 10-ft. power lead provides safety and jobsite durability (longer lengths available on request). Power leads are color-coded for 120 VAC or 240 VAC.
  1. Tough outer jacket
  2. Braided metal grounding jacket (for safety)
  3. EFTE insulation (for long-term corrosion, chemical & temperature resistance)
  4. Oxygen-free copper heating elements (for flexibility & longevity)

Features & Specs

  • Power leads and heating elements are fully grounded from end to end.
  • Heating elements are manufactured with a braided twin-wire design and shielded to reduce electromagnetic fields (EMF) to ultra-low levels.
  • TapeMats are easily maneuverable. Just cut the mesh to fit around tight corners and fixtures
  • TapeMats lay out flatter for easier troweling with the pre-attached double-sided tape.

Installation is as easy as...

  1. Step 1

    Plan Your Room

Measure and sketch the room you plan to warm. Choose the best place for your thermostat, what areas you want to warm and how many mats you will need. Heat 85-90% of open floor, staying 4-6 inches away from walls and built-ins.

  2. Step 2

    Layout Mats

Roll out the mats according to your sketch and fasten them to the subfloor using the 2-sided tape. Mount your thermostat and place the temperature sensor between any two heating wires.

  3. Install Floor

Cover mats with a cement based mortar, let it cure, then install your floor covering. If you are installing tile, you can install the tile when you apply the mortar. Connect mat power leads to your thermostat in parallel.
